Vintgar Gorge (1.6 km)
A spectacular 1.6 km gorge carved by the Radovna River, with wooden walkways between the cliffs of Hom and Boršt. The trail ends at the 13-meter Šum Waterfall – an unmissable gem just minutes from Gorje.
Šum Waterfall
The highest river waterfall in Slovenia, plunging into an emerald pool at the end of Vintgar Gorge. Its name – “Šum” – means “murmur,” perfectly capturing the sound that fills the canyon.
Pokljuka Gorge
A ~2 km “fossil” gorge up to 50 m deep, with natural arches, the Pokljuka Cave, and the famous “natural windows.” A scenic circular hiking trail leads through limestone formations and cool forest shade.
